Kottmann Advisory AG has been founded back in 2001 by Dr. Felix A. Kottmann. He is an Investment Advisory Specialist for Institutional Investors such as Pension Funds, Endowments, Family Offices and High Network Individuals.
2005, Kottmann Analytics LLC, Dubai, has been founded for non-Swiss based clients. In addition, Kottmann Advisory AG cooperates with various best-in-class partners for regulatory and research/analysis purposes.

Prudent Investor's rule is Kottmann's fundamental belief. «Best-in-class in all we do» - this is the overall credo of Kottmann Advisory AG. Capital preservation is always prioritized – even above return hunting.
Only risk can be managed, return is arbitrary and random. That's why Asset Management is an art, not a science. Successful results are achieved by individuals rather than companies. Popular and trendy investments are not our focus. For mainstream solutions, Investors do not need an Advisor. We go the extra-mile for each client to achieve outstanding results. Practical high level investment management expertise is imperative, knowing the text-book is not sufficient.
Kottmann Advisory works independently and exclusively for its clients - there are no free publications and no media work. The clients deserve a censorship-free and fully transparent approach and not the consultant's preferences and pre-selected solutions.
Long-term results, sharpe ratios and their stability within the peer group are the main focus. The diversification lies within three to six funds per asset class instead of allocating direct mandates to 1 or 2 managers. Hire and Fire is not Kottmann's selection approach as we learned in 35 years to evaluate long-lasting "team-structures" is the only way to succeed.
